It automatically stores copies of your data files in a structured backup archive. Every day, a version of each changed file will be separately stored. To recover files or directories, just click on the desired date in the selection list, even if this date is one year ago.<br> <br> The data backups will be kept available as long as you desire. Nevertheless, the storage space requirements are not too <br>high, because only the changed files will be saved (incremental backups). <br> Furthermore, VersionBackup enables you archiving old data externally, as CD Backup or DVD Backup, e.g. Even these externally archived data are fully integrated into the data backup version management. This structue of the data collection always gives you a fallback position. And you can easily restore the development processes on your computer. <br> <br> The backup archive can also be managed as Online Backup (FTP-Backups). Storing the data in the Internet will provide <br>optimized data security. It is recommended if the backup volume is not too big.<br> <br> VersionBackup especially supports USB-Backups. If the backup media shall be mobile to keep it at a safe location, tape <br>cassettes had to be used in the past. With VersionBackup, you can access the files much easier and faster if they are stored on USB drives (hard disk or USB stick).<br> <br> VersionBackup Server enables you doing the recovery from any connected client computer.
